These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Outlinkers application (the "App") provided through the Shopify App Store. By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The service
The App lets a Shopify merchant add outbound link buttons to product pages, configure per-variant overrides, view click analytics, and bulk-manage configurations across the catalogue. Specific features evolve over time; we reserve the right to add, remove, or modify functionality.
2. Eligibility and account
To use the App you must operate a Shopify store in good standing and be authorised to install third-party applications on it. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you supply within the App and for the conduct of your store's staff users.
3. Subscription and billing
The App is offered on a recurring subscription basis. All charges are processed and managed by Shopify under their standard billing terms. Pricing is displayed on the App's Plan page inside your Shopify admin and may change with reasonable advance notice.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. To cancel, uninstall the App from your Shopify admin; billing stops at the end of the current paid period. Refunds, when given, are at Shopify's discretion.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App to send shoppers to destinations that promote illegal activity, fraud, malware, phishing, infringement of intellectual property, or content prohibited by Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any security mechanism of the App.
- Resell, white-label, or sublicense the App without our prior written permission.
- Use the App to generate or amplify click events that misrepresent shopper interactions.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of product data, link URLs, button copy, and any other configuration you enter into the App. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process this content solely for the purpose of operating the App on your behalf.
6. Intellectual property
The App, including its source code, branding, and documentation, is and remains our property and our licensors' property. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or design marks beyond what is needed to display the App in your Shopify admin.
7. Availability and warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defect will be corrected. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the total fees you paid to us for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
9. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Outlinkers from any claim brought by a third party arising out of your use of the App in breach of these Terms or applicable law, including any claim related to the outbound destinations you link to from your storefront.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App without notice if you breach these Terms, if Shopify removes the App from its App Store, or if continued operation becomes commercially impracticable.
11. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active merchants via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to where Outlinkers is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
